Ever since the OIG became part of the audits in 1982, exactly what was not supposed to happen, did happen: vault compartments that had been physically verified and sealed were re-opened.
Did you actually send this letter to Mr. president Trump? Did you make sure that he would receive your open letter? If not, then your letter means nothing, and it has no weight.
Jan, your work is incredible. I appreciate the extensive detailed sources you site, as they do much to enhance the credibility of your research.
May I suggest that, in addition to a full audit of what is PHYSICALLY in the vaults at Ft Knox, the US Mint and FRBNY, a companion audit of who actually OWNS the gold is of paramount importance.
Let’s assume for the moment that the quantity of gold claimed to be at the three sites is actually there. Does the US Treasury actually own it, or has it been leased, swapped, hypothecated or title transferred by some other means by the Federal Reserve Banksters?
Another point that should be verified is the purity of the gold. Is it 22KT, the standard used in US minted gold coins prior to 1933? Are all of the gold bars real, i.e., not tungsten? And why isn’t a serialized bar list available?
Answers to these questions would enhance the credibility of the audit you have so eloquently described the need for.
Interesting -- thanks! Together with a collection of coins at, for example, West Point, it lists various melts and the number of bars in each melt. Does each bar in a melt have a bar number like i or ii or iii? Some of the melts have a very low fineness. For example, I see a fineness of 0.00025 towards the end of the list -- is that a set of bars that are primarily tungsten or something like that? Does a 'D' stand for Denver and 'P' for Philadelphia? What do the other letters stand for? There seems to be quite a collection. Is there a legend available somewhere? I found a PDF of the list here...

We live in a world of lies
If they did an audit , would they admit if a significant amount was missing ?
And would that be bullish for gold, bearish for the US dollar, what? How would we trade this?
